FEMA's Prepare Before A Disaster Training

FEMA's Grant Programs Directorate is offering a new one-hour training webinar for each FEMA region. Prepare Before a Disaster Training will provide information on contracting actions FEMA award recipients and sub-recipients can take before a disaster strike. The training will be offered through Adobe Connect.

Target Audience:

State, local, tribal and territorial governments, non-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, and other non-Federal entities; Public Assistance applicants. 

Topics include:

Reviewing applicable federal procurement rules, prequalified lists, awarding prepositioned contracts, and the benefits of awarding preposition contracts vs. post-incident contracts.
